At All Star Performance we work with athletes of different ages. With kids from 5 to 10 years of age we will work on strength, endurance, speed, agility, core, balance & power with little to no weights just trying to focus on details and making sure they can control their own weight before adding some. Some exercises we incorporate on a daily basis are: Squats, push-ups, overhead slams, battle ropes, planks, ladder drills, high knees, up and down stairs, backpedaling run, shuffles and mini hurdles.
With athletes from 11 to 13 years of age we will work on strength, endurance, speed, agility, core, balance & power with weights just getting them to know a little more of what they’re going to be doing once they go to the next level that is high school.
Some of the exercises we use with high school athletes are Squats, lunges, step-ups, lateral lunges, dumbbell press, shoulder press, lateral raises, plank, overhead slams, bosu ball single leg balance, ladder drills and the list continues.
